All Cadets, C/A1C through C/CMSgt, are invited to attend NonCommissioned Officer School being held at Civil Air Patrol’s Cadet Training Center (Blue Beret Facility) in Oshkosh, WI.

The purpose of this school is to provide cadet NCOs the skills and knowledge needed to lead and teach other cadets.  Also by attending Noncommissioned Officer School cadets will have a greater understanding of how a squadron runs, where they fit within the chain of command, and how to be a successful leader.

This weekend activity will provide cadets with hands on training in:
  Drill and Ceremonies
  Instructional Methods
  Inspection and Evaluation
  Communication Techniques
  Counseling
  Writing Memorandums
  Leadership Styles and Attributes              
  Psychology of Leadership
  Role of the NCO                                       
  NCO Interaction with Airman and Officers

Applications must be received by 16 June 2008 to be considered, and no refunds will be given after that date.

Flying In:
Personnel arriving by corporate or member-owned aircraft must have received appropriate flight releases.  Aircraft are to be parked on the West Ramp via the Papa One taxiway.  This is the ramp closest to the CAP facility.
